Alena Stanley (she/her) is a part time student at Folsom Lake College. She has published articles for The Cuestonian with Cuesta College, and has been an avid writer/reader her whole life. When she isn’t working on The Parlay, you are likely to find her browsing a local thrift store or swimming in her pool. The light of her life is her daughter Pheobe, a stumpy cow-cat with a short tail and pink nose. Pheobe will often be reading with Alena, and her most recent reread was Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
